Quoting Jon Snow: “winter is coming”; but before that, we get some amazing Must-Watch TV premieres in the Fall. There will be new shows that are expected to become a massive hit, some veterans that we still get excited to revisit, the classics, the revivals, and of course, the ones that keep getting renewed and we’ll never understand why.

Two of the new shows I’m excited about are:

The Gifted – A series from Marvel that focuses on a family whose lives change after the kids begin to display mutant superpowers. Nataly Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs, Gotham) and Percy Hynes White (The Grand Seduction) play the roles of the children while Amy Acker (Person of Interest) and Stephen Moyer (True blood) play their parents. X-Men director Bryan Singer who is also an executive producer for this show directed the pilot.

You can watch The Gifted trailer here:

Young Sheldon – The spinoff of The Big Bang Theory that follows the life of little Sheldon Cooper in his childhood years growing up in a conservative home in Texas. Sheldon is played by young and talented Iain Arimtage (Big Little Lies). Zoe Perry (Scandal) plays his mother and Lance Barber (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) plays his father.

Some of the fan-favourites coming back are:

Agents of SHIELD, Black-ish, Scandal, Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, How to get Away with Murder, This is UsVikings and Supergirl.

Our TV would feel empty without the classics (and some neo-classics) like:

The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Horror Story, The Middle, Supernatural, The Walking Dead and Grey’s Anatomy.

The revivals:

Special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully return to X-Files (a revival of the revival from last year) and the whole cast from Will & Grace too (can’t wait to see what Karen Walker has been up to).
